Multi-PD support enables the MPSS and Audio PD to be run on the same Hexagon
processor. A process domain has a separate address space and protections where
multiple tasks can be run in a PD. The modem and the kernel run in PD0, and Audio PD
runs in PD1. These protection features enable MPSS and Audio PD to be run on the
same Hexagon processor, yet logically simulate as if they were running on separate
processors.
Audio PD software resides in a few folders inside the MPSS build. The code is built
separately and stitched to generate a single binary that is flashed in the MPSS Hexagon
software
